Reconstruction

In 2021 Willacy County Housing Authority and the Texas General Land Office selected JWTC to provide reconstruction construction services for single-family residential homes. This program funded by the GLO, provided grants to reconstruct housing for residents who experienced damage from the 2015 flood events.

JWTC was selected based on our capability and experience with both rehabilitation and reconstruction services and our proven timely quality construction services with previous Willacy County Housing Authority programs.

The single-family housing projects are located in San Perlita, Sebastian, and Lasara in Willacy County, Texas, and required a 90-day completion date from issuance of notice to proceed. This project included the reconstruction of 10 single-family homes.
