ALABAMA HOME RECOVERY PROGRAM (HRAP)
The Alabama Home Recovery Program is a Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program administered by HORNE, LLP, and the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). The Alabama HRAP Program provides demolition, rehabilitation, elevation, and reconstruction services for homeowners affected by Hurricanes Sally and Zeta throughout nine affected counties in Alabama. The program also includes MHU repair and replacement.
Our capability and experience with rehabilitation, reconstruction, elevation, MHU replacement, and MHU services, along with our experience with FEMA and HUD CDBG programs, allowed JWTC to be selected to work as a subcontractor to HORNE, LLP to aid in long-term recovery efforts. JWTC completed the first homes in the Alabama HRAP program in enough time to allow the homeowners to move in before the 2023 Christmas holiday. We received compliments from homeowners, as well as HORNE.
JWTC is currently working on single-family residential rehabilitations, reconstructions, and MHU replacement services in all geographical areas of the program for Hurricane Sally and Zeta's recovery.
