CITY OF GALVESTON HURRICANE IKE HOUSING PROGRAM ROUNDS 1 & 2 CITY OF GALVESTON

The City of Galveston selected JWTC in 2010 to provide construction services in support of the Hurricane Ike Housing Program Round 1, for residents of the city who were impacted by Hurricane Ike, and then again for Round 2. The Hurricane Ike Housing Program, funded by the HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provided grants to rehabilitate and reconstruct housing for disaster victims who experienced damage from Hurricane Ike. JWTC provided rehabilitation and reconstruction services for over 350 houses within the city including the “take over” of over 91 houses from contractors who were lagging or failed at projects. JWTC was able to get the projects back on track and provide customer service to the applicants to make the transition between contractors as smooth as possible.

Five loaves.

Two fish.

Whatever you have, it is ENOUGH. When you offer what you have, small gifts become magnified.

What do we do? We brand, market, design, develop and create beautiful things.

We believe that strength is for service, not status.

Our marketing and public relations experience spans from American Quarter Horses to Texas Country Music, from sushi to pizzas, and city government to humane societies. We create concepts, bring them to life through graphic design, and then put them in motion through print, online and social mediums.
