The Texas General Land Office announced James W Turner Construction as a recipient of the 2019 HUB Award. JWTC was presented the award for being one of the top three Prime Contractors with the largest subcontractor expenditures using Historically Underutilized Businesses. The HUB Program was created to promote full and equal procurement opportunities for small, minority and women-owned businesses. By becoming HUB certified, a business is then able to bid on projects significantly more than they might originally would have.
